St Vincents Primary School
The stunning new building at St Vincent’s Primary School, Morwell, was one of our favourite projects. Incorporating a new gymnasium, classrooms, common rooms and locker rooms, the project adopts a seamless blend of building methods including precast concrete panels and stud walls, and metal, compressed sheet and stone claddings. Add striking angled pillars and spectacular use of accent lighting, creative use of window location, floor and wall patterns and textures, and highlight windows to complete the design.
Finished in a striking colour scheme of yellow, red and blue feature colours against a subtler background of zinc, cream and stone, the new building adds a refreshing splash of vigour to the highly regarded St Vincent’s Primary School.
But there’s more than meets the eye. A closer look reveals clever innovation: operable walls to create flexible open and combined spaces, generously spacious locker room and utility storage, low maintenance finishes throughout, floor-level window lighting, and the latest Interactive White Boards (IWB’s) with ultra-short-throw networked projectors in every classroom.
A truly unique project, one that deserves a Commercial Builder you can Trust! The formidable construction experience, attention to detail, and dedication of the Kingbuilt Commercial team ensured that the building process was efficient and smooth, and the finished product met Kingbuilt’s high quality standards that are well known in the Gippsland and Latrobe Valley areas.
